Our Outdoor First Aid Courses adhere to standard 2 (1 day course) & 3 (2day course) of the Institute of Outdoor Learning – Outdoor First Aid Training Framework.
Remote First Aid presents the rescuer with the unique situation of prolonged care of a patient in a remote area, before definitive medical care can be provided. In such situations the emergency medical services may be difficult to obtain or delayed and there are a number of different skills required compared to the urban setting.
Throughout your course you will be presented with a number of realistic situations involving casualty make up. This will challenge and enhance the skills and knowledge you have acquired during the course.
Our two day course fulfils the needs of most of the outdoor national governing bodies such as SMBLA, ML, SPA, RYA, BCU, ASSI, BOF, BASI & Forest Schools.
